Frequently asked questions

How do I count?

Open a project and tap the big number. Each tap adds one. You can also count with your volume keys if you turn that on.

How do I undo a count?

Tap Undo to take back the last change, and Redo to bring it back. Undo and redo work on the last 50 actions of each project.

How do I move my projects to a new phone?

On the old phone, export a backup file from the app, then save it somewhere you can reach from the new phone. On the new phone, install StitchRow and import that file. If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may also restore the app’s data by itself on a new phone.

Why only 3 active projects, and what happens to my data after a refund?

The free version keeps up to 3 projects active at once. Finished and archived projects never count, and Pro removes the limit. Nothing is ever hidden, locked or deleted: if you have more active projects than the free limit, for example after a refund, all of them stay fully usable. You just cannot start or re-activate another one until you are under the limit.

The volume keys do not count.

Volume-key counting works only while the app is open and the screen is on. It does not work with the screen off or while another app is in front.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone, in the app’s private storage. There is no account and no cloud sync, and we never receive your projects, notes or stash. Backup files go only where you save them.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are processed by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy. You can request one from your Google Play order history. If Pro does not work for you, email us as well and we will help.

How do I delete my data?

Delete a project in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored on your phone. Backup files you exported are yours to delete. The anonymous usage statistics the app sends to Google Firebase cannot be tied to you and are deleted automatically (analytics events after 2 months, crash reports after 90 days). See the delete-data page for details.
