Tap the .md file in Files, Downloads, Google Drive, Gmail or a chat app and choose Markdown Editor in the Open with menu. Or open the app and pick a file or a folder from its home screen.

Yes. Changes are saved back to the same file a few seconds after you stop typing, and the app keeps a safe draft on your phone while you type. If another app changed the file while you were editing, the app warns you before saving.

Open the file, open the menu and choose Versions. The last 10 versions of each file you edit stay on your phone.

Documents are shown offline. To show images that a document links from the internet, turn on Settings › Load images from the web.

Some apps share a read-only copy of a file. Open the file from the Files app or the storage app that holds it, or choose Save a copy to keep your edits in a file you can change. Until then, your edits are kept safely in the app.

Pro is linked to the Google account you bought it with. Install the app with the same Google account and open it: it checks Google Play and unlocks Pro again. You do not need to buy it twice.

Go to Settings › Privacy options in the app. Buying Pro removes the ad completely.

Purchases are processed by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy. You can request one from your Google Play order history. If Pro does not work for you, email us as well and we will help.

Everything the app saves stays on your phone. Settings › Clear recents and versions removes the recent list, drafts and earlier versions, and uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. We hold no account or documents of yours.
