1. About these terms
Markdown Editor: MD Viewer ("the app") is provided by VELOX APP LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17186614), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply to downloads and purchases made through Google Play. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Android devices that you own or control. You may use it for your own documents, including documents for your work.
3. Free features, ads and Pro
The app is free to download. Reading, editing, saving, autosave, version restore, math and folders are free, and the free version includes 2 PDF exports. The free version shows ads (a banner on the home screen and an optional ad you can watch to export one more PDF), served by Unity LevelPlay and its ad networks, as described in the privacy policy.
Markdown Editor: MD Viewer Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. It removes the ad and adds the features described on the app's page and in the app.
- The price is shown in Google Play before you confirm the purchase. Google Play processes the payment.
- Pro is a single payment. It is not a subscription and is never charged again.
- Pro is linked to the Google account you bought it with. You can restore it by installing the app with that account.
4. Refunds and your statutory rights
Refunds for purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play's refund policy. If Pro does not work as described, contact us at [email protected] and we will help you put it right.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for digital content.
5. Your documents
Your documents belong to you, and you are responsible for their content. The app opens and saves them only on your device or through the storage app you chose. We do not receive, review or store them.
The app saves your changes to the original file, keeps a draft while you type and keeps earlier versions so you can restore them. Even so, keep your own backups of documents that matter to you: files can also be changed or removed by other apps, by your storage provider or by Android.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the app for anything unlawful;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the app; or
- decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows you to.
7. Updates and other services
We may update the app from time to time to improve it, fix problems or follow changes in Android. Images linked in a document come from the websites that host them, and links in a document open other websites: we are not responsible for that content.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design and its name belong to us or our licensors. The app includes open-source components, which are used under their own licences. Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. Other names mentioned in the app belong to their owners.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. If defective digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation, where the damage was caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. If you use the app for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you seriously break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in your local courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app changes. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page.
